Pankaj and Monalisa in "Maati Preet Jagawe"

After the successful pair of Niahua-Pakkhi, there seems to be one more pair developing in Bhojpuri film industry. Pankaj Keshri & Monalisa are doing several films together, and had signed one more recently.

Both of them will be appearing in forthcoming Bhojpuri film "Maati Preet Jagawe", whose muhurt took place last week at Oscar Hall (Andheri), Mumbai. To be directed by Suraj Shah, the film will also have Kunal Singh, Jitendra Jaiswal, Seema Singh, Mukesh Raj, Mahesh Raj & Rakesh Pandey in lead roles.

"In past one year, we have done a few films together, and we have a few more in the list. But, I must clarify, there is nothing fishy about it, if the director and audience like our pair, we will continue to repeat ourselves," said Pankaj.

Music of the film is being composed by Madhu Mishra, and songs are written by Kamlapati Tripathi. To be produced by Virendra P Singh, the film will go on floor in the month of July.
